Early Sunday would have seemed an untimely day for a wedding as a misty fog was dwelling in the Duck, N.C. area, but just as the proceedings for the ceremony were about to begin, the sun illuminated the sky and reflected off the ocean to create a beautiful atmosphere for a perfect beach wedding. The weather in the Outer Banks on Sunday bore a beauty familiar to the grandeur of the nuptial union between a man and woman. It was profoundly evident that someone had a plan for Kelly and Jeremy, as their wedding day prevailed to have much success.

After the ceremony, the party began! The beach cottage where the reception was held could hardly be compared to such a humble accommodation. The extravagance of this venue delivered a prefect atmosphere for a wedding reception. DJ Andrew Grossman was the DJ/MC for this event getting the Outer Banks wedding music going off of the second floor balcony, family and friends from the Withers and Kummer sides mingled by the pool and bar sharing stories and cocktails. Soon after, the father of the bride, Kelly’s sisters, and the beast man gave toasts of praise to Kelly and Jeremy. After a short prayer was given, the guests delved into a buffet of delicacies courtesy of Coastal Provisions.

After dinner, the guests were just as anxious to kick off open dance time as I was. I started off the set with Twist and Shout by the Beatles and family and friends started dancing by the pool. Subsequently, a conga line formed, some of the bridal party enjoyed a dip in the pool in their formal wear, and the dance party even moved to the top of the bar. This wedding proved to be one of the best Outer Banks wedding receptions yet that I have done in my DJ career. Shout out to Island Photography for taking some spectacular pictures and thank you to Kelly and Jeremy for letting Coastal DJ & Video be a part of your special day!
