We guide you through the planning process and help you create custom playlists for your event at the ease of our online planning tool. We also offer custom lighting to set the mood for your special night. We offer LED ambient dance floor lighting, uplighting, monogrammed projection, lighting effects, spotlighting, and more. You can add a fun, interactive experience with a photo booth that includes an operator, props, custom logo, unlimited prints, album, and DVD of images. To capture your beautiful venue and guests, Coastal DJ & Video also offers videographers to turn your day into a fantastic film.

We use only top of the line professional mobile DJ equipment that is unobtrusive. Battery operated speakers (no messy cables) for ceremonies with high-end wireless microphones. State-of-the-art speakers, DJ controllers, Macbook Pro laptops, and wireless handheld microphones for toast and speeches.

Since we’re a multi-op company we have several DJs that work on a regular basis. Should a problem arise or a DJ gets sick, we’ll have a backup DJ on stand-by and ready to step in at any time.

Yes, our DJs will take requests. We have a terrific online music portal that will allow you to customize a playlist prior to your event. The DJs will not play the music that is on your “DO NOT PLAYLIST” and will not play music from Youtube even if asked.

We require a deposit and signing of a contract at the time of booking to secure the date. The final balance is due two weeks prior to the event date. Payments can be made through our secure portal with a credit or debit card. As an alternative, you can always mail in a check to the head office.

We suggest booking 6-9 months in advance of your event. We also have availability last minute if needed. It’s honestly a first-come, first-serve.

You can choose songs that you’d like played as well as songs that you do not want to be played at your event through our online system. When you book our services you’ll receive login information to that system with your DJ contract.

We recommend choosing 30-35 songs total for your event If it’s a wedding we like to have at least 10 songs for each part of the evening such as cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Our online music portal will allow you to customize a playlist for each part of your ceremony and reception. You can generalize the music you would like to hear for each while allowing room for the DJ to fill in the gaps.
