Parisi at the Lady Drake House…. Duck, NC… Saturday the 19th of May 2012 DJ MIGHTY QUINN Rocked the multi-cultural house….. Guests came from Central / South America, all over the East Coast / West Coast US for an intimate ceremony in the courtyard of the beach house the brides family has rented every year since 1984…

The couple met while in school at FSU and they vacationed together over the years in the Lady Drake House. The brides family was living in Florida and the groom’s family is from Panama. With the guests watching from the home’s balconies, the Outer Banks wedding celebration began!

A Beautiful Ceremony

The bride and her father appeared in a gazebo on the beach 20 yards away and walked into the courtyard to the song “To A Wild Rose” by Edward McDowell. Rev. Jay Bowman (a.k.a. The Barefoot Preacher as he is known) officiated the ceremony and had a great delivery… After the vows the couple were presented and DJ MIGHTY QUINN played “Somewhere Over the Rainbow, by Isreal Kamakawiwo’ole (if you have not heard this version, you must!). The bride / groom dance was to “Stand by Me” by Prince Royce. And then father / daughter dance was to Tim McGraw’s “My Little Girl”. There was a toast by dad and then the party trigger was pulled.

Party In The Midday Sun

They danced in the midday sun around the pool while enjoying great food by Red Sky Cafe. Coastal DJ & Video’s DJ MIGHTY QUINN had to incorporate dance songs from several cultures and generations and did so masterfully! The guests never stopped moving…as all good Latin weddings go…. Salas, Lambadas, line dances, slow meaningful songs, and of course SHOUT, echoed throughout the courtyard from 1:30 till 5pm. The home was going to be the party place, for sure, for a few more days, but “Coastal DJ & Video” job was complete, with a “JOB WELL DONE” compliment from the brides family.
