DSC_1455Megan and Thomas were married on the beach in Nags Head on Saturday, June 6th, right next to Jennette’s Pier. The weather could not have been any more perfect for a beach wedding, with a nice ocean breeze keeping everyone cool during the sunny ceremony. The sound of the waves and the soothing music from the speaker set a nice tone for the event. The shell ceremony was a nice finale, and all of the guests posed with the newlyweds for a group photo after tossing their shells into the ocean together. After the ceremony was complete, everyone headed inside to the pier for the reception.

The cocktail hour entertainment was provided as an ambiance of country and beachy tunes while the guests enjoyed appetizers and beverages. The photo booth was a great addition to the event, and made for a fun way for the guests to help the newlyweds remember their wedding day. The introduction of the wedding party was creative and fun. The bridesmaids came in to “Fun Fun Fun” by The Beach Boys, with beach balls flying toward the dance floor. The groomsmen came in to “Wipeout” by the Surf Safaris and rode surfboards on the dance floor. The bride and groom then entered to Dave Matthews Band “So Right” and then went right into their first dance of “Thinking Out Loud,” by Ed Sheeran.

The newlyweds and their guests then celebrated with a fantastic feast served up by the talented staff at Basnight’s Lone Cedar Catering. The toasts and cake cutting preceded the traditional dances between Megan and her Father, and Thomas and his mother. After that, the dance party was underway for the remainder of the evening. We had a blast jamming out to modern top 40, Motown classics, country hits, eighties rock, and more. We would like to congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hall once more, and thank you for having Coastal DJ and Video rock your Outer Banks Wedding day celebration!
