Bray-Ross Wedding in Carova, N.C.

Megan Bray and Adam Ross tied the knot on a beautiful Friday afternoon in Carova, N.C. The wedding took place on Penny’s Hill with family & friends gathered to witness the marriage of Megan and Adam on their special day! The weather was perfect for a beach ceremony. Not a cloud in the sky as vows took place. Coastal DJ & Video here to give the details for this beautiful couple.

We all gathered on the top of Penny’s Hill to witness Megan and Adam’s special ceremony that was delivered by Tony Joseph with “I DO OBX Weddings.” The Embellishers helped coordinate the timing of the seating as well as the entire wedding which was very helpful. Lots of excitement filled the air as Megan and Adam said their “I DO’s”. The couple then had their recessional to “Stuck like glue” by Sugarland.

Coastal DJ & Video provided music for cocktail hour as guests arrived from the ceremony location. Coastal Provisions brought out appetizers and food for all the guests and family to enjoy while pictures were taken by Matt Lusk Photography. After the cocktail hour the parents and bridal party were lined up for the Introductions that took place on the top deck overlooking the pool area. We brought in the wedding party to “I’m too sexy” by Right said Fred, then an official introduction of the bride & groom to “Jump Around” by House of Pain. The first dance took place immediately following the introductions to “Wagon Wheel” by Darius Rucker, an amazing version of the song!

Bray_Ross-25Just after the first dance Adam gave a quick welcome to all the guests, then a quick blessing of the food given by a special friend Tatum Greenslade. Everyone gathered under the tent for dinner. One special thing that was requested by Megan and Adam was for anyone that wanted to see them kiss, had to come up and sing any song with the word “LOVE” in it instead of the traditional tapping of glasses. So all during dinner friends came up and sang songs with the word “LOVE” which was really cool. As soon as dinner was over we all got ready for the traditional father/daughter dance that was done to “Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle. The groom joined his mother for a special dance thereafter to one of my all-time favorites, “Unforgettable” by Nat King Cole. There were a few toasts given by friends and a cake cutting to “How sweet it is” by James Taylor.

The rest of the night everyone danced out by the pool and also enjoyed the Photo Booth that was set up on the inside of the event home. This was a very special wedding that will always be remembered and we especially thank all the great vendors for a job well done as Megan and Adam celebrated being married. Congratulations to our newlywed’s on their special time spent on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and thank you again for letting all of us be a part of your special day!
