NC Nags Head Golf LinksThe weather in Nags head this past Sunday, May 24, could not have been more perfect for an Outer Banks outdoor wedding. Andrea and Robert seized the opportunity to get married on the sound-front area behind the clubhouse at The Nags Head Links Golf Club. This is Karl with Coastal DJ and Video to share the details of an absolutely amazing Outer Banks Wedding.

The wedding ceremony took place on the green behind the clubhouse with the shimmering Roanoke Sound as the backdrop. The scene made the perfect setting for the wedding photos as well; Blue Sky Photography spent some time with the Bride and Groom capturing the stills as the guests prepared to greet the newlyweds at the reception. Just before the picturesque sunset, Andrea and Robert were introduced to the sounds of cheers and applause. They then shared their first dance together with Michael Buble “Everything.” Dinner was served via stations, and the guests enjoyed the meal in the Player’s Grille Dining Room. Toasts were given by the Maid of Honor and The Best Man before the Bride and Groom cut the exquisite cake from Great Cakes.

After the festivities inside, as an Outer Banks DJ I got everyone moving out on the deck to celebrate with hours of dancing. The variety was enjoyed by the revelers, as cheers went up in the air during salsa and merengue tunes as well as country hits. Popular dance songs were also enjoyed by young and old alike, and I had a lot of fun mixing in hip-hop tunes at the bride’s request. I really didn’t want this OBX reception party to end, but the party was continued at the beach houses after “the Best Song Ever” by One Direction signaled the conclusion of the dance party at the Links. It was an honor to be a part of such an enchanting evening of celebration for the newlywed young couple. Congratulations to Lieutenant and Mrs. Robert E. Lee!!
