25042015_kyle_stephanie_0169Stephanie Dennis and Kyle Stickley tied the knot on Saturday afternoon in Jarvisburg, N.C. at The Sanctuary Vineyards. It was slightly cloudy with a chance of showers but nothing was going to stop this sweet couple from saying their “I do’s.” The ceremony service and exchange of vows took place and was nicely delivered, thanks to Rev. Saunders.

Guests enjoyed cocktails, wine, and appetizers in the front room of the Vineyards while the wedding party was taken for pictures with Brook Mayo from Brook Mayo photography.

The theme of this wedding reception was Red, Tan, and Black and was complimented by a fascinating desert station that had me from hello! It was a chocolate fountain with strawberries and bananas, one word, Amazing! So unique and well appreciated by all the guests.25042015_kyle_stephanie_0015

Afterwards, we lined up the wedding party for introductions. As an Outer Banks wedding DJ, I enjoyed kicking off Michael Bolton’s “Love is a wonderful thing” to introduce all wedding party and bride & groom. A beautiful first dance took place next to Christina Perri “A Thousand Years” followed by the father daughter dance to Heartland “I Loved Her First.” Kyle and his Mom danced to Anthony Carter’s “A Mothers Song.”

One of the sweetest moments of this wedding was when Rev. Saunders and Kataen “our flower girl” came up to do the blessing. Kataen, gained all the attention from everyone in the room as she gave her version of the blessing, God is great, God is good, let him thank us for this food. Such a sweet way to kick off dinner! There was plenty of good dancing and lots of great Country Music played during this event. The cake cutting was one of the highlights of this wedding. We played “Honey Bee” by Blake Shelton. Such a great song! Such a beautiful cake!

Food, dancing, a beautiful cake, and LOVE! This is what it’s all about. Lots of memories at the Sanctuary Vineyards are what we will keep from this special day! One of the best OBX reception parties. Congratulations to Stephanie and Kyle Stickley. Thank you for having us at your event.
