Rachel Black and Michael Landis braved the wind on the beach last Friday evening to become joined in holy matrimony in front of the Sea Ranch in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. Coastal DJ & Video was there to set the mood. This is DJ Karl here to give you the rundown of the festivities of that evening.
The ceremony was abundantly sunny despite the wind, and witnessed by forty friends and family members. Besides a playlist selected by the bride and groom for their ceremony, there was also a soloist to set the romantic mood. They both said I do, so we all cheered and I took the guests inside for cocktail hour.
After a fantastic meal provided by the Seaside Bistro at the Sea Ranch resort, the bride and groom enjoyed their very first dance as a married couple. Two more traditional dances followed after a toast by the best man and maid of honor. Rachel and Michael then cut the cake and smeared it all over each other’s faces.
We all laughed, cheered, and then started off the dance party right. Hits from more than three decades were mixed with hand-picked requests from the bride and groom. The crowd was jubilant and the celebration involved everyone in the room. No one wanted the party to end!
Congratulations to the newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Landis. Thank you for choosing Coastal DJ & Video to bring the energy to your Outer Banks Wedding.
