Mallory and MichaelThe Currituck Club in Corolla was the venue for a grand wedding on Saturday, April 25th, as families and friends of Michael Smith and Mallory James converged to witness their union in marriage. The ceremony took place out on the seventh green overlooking the Currituck Sound a few hours before sunset. The ceremony was sweet, and after Michael and Mallory both said their vows, the guests headed up to the clubhouse for the celebration while Ryan Diegelmann with Coastal Shots Photography captured those perfect wedding portraits. This is Karl Mohr with Coastal DJ & Video here to give your the rundown on this event!

Coastal DJ and Video was covering the Outer Banks DJ and MC services as well as Wedding Videography for this event. We were sure to keep guests well entertained during cocktail hour until it was time to invite them into the main reception hall for the grand introductions of the newlyweds and the wedding party. The main reception hall was nicely decorated by the staff at Bells and Whistles Florists. Everyone enjoyed a fantastic meal served by the Currituck Club staff before the rest of the festivities.

The Best Man and the Maid of Honor had some kind words of encouragement as a toast to the newlyweds, after sharing some fond memories with all the guests. Then Michael and Mallory cut the cake, and everyone headed back into the reception hall to kick off the dance party. The bride and groom shared their first dance to “Me and You”, by Kenny Chesney. Mallory then shared a dance with each of her dads, and Michael danced with his mother as well. After that, the dance party was underway, and it was clear that everyone was ready. The dance floor was packed immediately; this crew was ready to party! We had a blast late into the evening as all the guests and the wedding party kept the dance floor full all night. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Smith! I loved being your wedding DJ. Thank you for inviting us to share and enjoy your wedding day with you.
