4.4.150002Wedding Bells were ringing this past Saturday, April 4th, in Southern Shores at Duck Woods Country Club. Constance Fischer and Steven Yaccarino were married out on the course with more than a hundred family and friends to witness. It was an absolutely brilliant evening, and the magnificent ceremony set the mood for the celebration to follow. This is DJ Karl with a recap of the events.

Club Violin provided the ambiance for the ceremony out on the fairway in front of the Clubhouse. There were readings by friends and family and a communion ceremony to precede the vows. Once the rings were on and all the “I do’s” were said all of the guests headed up to the reception hall for the celebration while the photographers Genevieve and Chad with Genevieve Stewart Photography worked with the newlyweds to get those perfect wedding photos.

The grand introduction of the wedding party took place at the reception in the grand hall. Once the families and bridal party were welcomed, the crowd cheered as the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. Yaccarino danced into the spotlight. They danced together for their very first dance to “That’s all,” by Michael Buble. Connie shared a dance with her father to a sweet song, and surprised everyone with a twist at the end to finish it off with some flair. Steven shared a dance with his mother, and then the Minister said the blessing for dinner.

Once everyone was finished enjoying the fantastic meal presented by the catering staff at Duck Woods Country Club, The Dance Party portion of the celebration was underway. We played some seventies and eighties songs to start off the fun, and then went back to the fifties for a bit to get everyone engaged. The room was full of spirit and love, and everyone was having a blast. We took a break in the fun to do the toasts, as the Best Men and Maid of Honor had some kind words for the bride and groom before the cake cutting. The cake cutting was another sweet moment in the spotlight for Connie and Steven before getting back out onto the dance floor for the last set. We played “Grow old with you” by Adam Sandler from The Wedding Singer soundtrack for the very last song as a very romantic finish. Congratulations to Connie and Steven Yaccarino! We had a lot of fun with you and your families and friends. Thank you for inviting Coastal DJ and Video to provide the entertainment for your wedding reception.
