This was a perfect day in October for an Outer Banks beach wedding. Crystal Franklin and James Cross became the new Mr. & Mrs. James Cross on October 3, 2013 at the Comfort Inn South in Nags Head, N.C. while family and friends joined to witness a beautiful beach ceremony.

Coastal DJ & Video cranked up the music for cocktail hour while the wedding party was taken for pictures with Ryan Diegelmann from Coastal shots Photography. After pictures James and Crystal made their way inside for Introductions. We brought the entire wedding party in to Colbie Caillat’s “I Do”.

After the grand entrance of the wedding party and bride & groom, guests and family were seated for a dinner that was nicely prepared by Currituck BBQ. Shortly after dinner the best man and maid of honor gave their toasts. After the champagne toasts the bride & groom did their cake cutting. We would like to give props to Robin from “Cakes by Robin” on a great job with the cake.

We brought out James and Crystal to the dance floor for their first dance of the evening to “Stand by me” by Ben E. King. There was a father/daughter and Mother/Son dance that took place to “Landslide” by Stevie Nicks. Once the special dances were finished all the guests, family, and friends of James and Crystal enjoyed what they loved the most and that was oldies, Classic rock, and outlaw country. We played lots of great songs that brought back tons of memories for not only James and Crystal but for their immediate family. The last dance and exit song was done by Johnny Cash “I walk the line”.

Guests had a great time celebrating and I certainly got to be a part of this awesome wedding in which will always be remembered. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. James Cross and we would like to extend a big thank you for letting us be a part of your big day in the Outer Banks, N.C.
