Casey Henke and Blake Goodall had their wedding ceremony & reception on August 6, 2011 at Autumn Lakes in Grimesland, N.C. This was truly an amazing time for everyone on this particular weekend and especially for the newlyweds that had waited patiently to be married in one of the most gorgeous sites around the area.

There was a huge tent overlooking Autumn Lakes that was decorated to the hilt by Occasions Party Rentals that did a fabulous job. Having gone to East Carolina for college the theme of this wedding you could say reminded me of the pirates. Purple all throughout the tent with a touch of green made for some really nice colors that just absolutely popped.

The Bride Arrives

As the bride arrived the sun came out to insure this wedding would end up everything it was supposed to be. The ceremony music was provided by your Greenville wedding DJ and seemed to time out just right as the bride made her entrance. Casey and Blake were married and then were taken by Lynn Harris with Lynn Harris Photography along with Patrick Beard to have their photo session with the rest of the wedding party as guests socialized and awaited introductions.

Special Dances

DJ Justin Stokes made the welcome to the guests and then lined up the wedding party to bring forth a fabulous introduction to the new Mr. and Mrs. Blake Goodall.

After the introductions:

  • The First Dance – Kenny Chesney “Me and You” which is a great choice for a first dance song.
  • The Father/Daughter Dance – “My Girl” by the Rolling Stones,
  • A Special Dance also with Casey and Mr. Andy Ray – “Then they do” by Trace Adkins.
  • Mother/Son Dance“All to you” by DJ Keo that was a fantastic choice for a mother/son dance song.

Finishing up all the special dances it was now time to grab a bite to eat.

It’s Time To Eat!

Southern Charm Catering provided the food that was offered at the food stations for this wedding and everyone dove in to make sure they were well fit for toasts that would be the next traditional event to come. After a great meal we called up all the guests to gather around for toasts.

The father of the groom Mr. Ronnie Goodall who was also the best man, gave our first toast to Blake and Casey. A few other toasts were made by several members of the wedding party to enhance great memories for the bride & groom. Speaking of great memories, when Casey and her best friend Sameria were in 3rd and 4th grade they recorded a cassette for Leonardo DiCaprio, with the song “My Heart Goes On”. From the mother of the bride to us here at Coastal DJ and Video we made sure that this song was played for Casey and her friend and all else at this wedding! What a great job they did with this recording.

Cut The Cake!

The cake cutting took place under the tent at the cake table that was prepared by Vanilla Bean Bake Shoppe. Casey and Blake made their way over to their wedding cake table along with family & friends to witness the cake cutting and to gather some nice photos.

Get The Party Started!

Soon after the cake cutting it was definitely time got The best wedding music they could possibly hope for on wedding day! Once we got everyone going it was hard even for the DJ’s to want to stop. This was an amazing dance crowd and everyone at this Greenville wedding including the families didn’t want to stop.

The party ended up going into overtime as you can well image for a Greenville crowd. Such a fun and exciting bunch for Casey and Blake and a whole lot of love all around to make this wedding one of the best! We would like to thank Casey and Blake for lots of fun memories and a truly amazing time at your wedding with wonderful people to support you being married and a full life of joy and happiness to come in your many years ahead!

Congrats!

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Blake Goodall. Thanks again for the chance to be a part of such a fun and exciting time at your wedding. Best wishes from the team at Coastal DJ & Video!
