Megan and Thomas were married on the beach in Nags Head on Saturday, June 6th, right next to Jennette’s Pier. The weather could not have been any more perfect for a beach wedding, with a nice ocean breeze keeping everyone cool during the sunny ceremony. The sound of the waves and the soothing music from the speaker set a nice tone for the event. The shell ceremony was a nice finale, and all of the guests posed with the newlyweds for a group photo after tossing their shells into the ocean together. Cheala and Stephen Hopkins were married this past weekend on Saturday June 6, 2015 at The Kitty Hawk Pier House. Their ceremony took place out on the pier overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Family and friends witnessed a beautiful service delivered by officiant Tanya Young with Outer Banks Wedding Officiants. We played a couple of pre-seating songs for everyone to be seated, then began the bride’s processional with “Bridal Chorus” by Richard Wagoner. The families and close friends of Keri Woessner and Joe Hemby came together by the Cape Fear River Waterfront to witness their wedding ceremony in the spring sunshine. The weather and the scenery could not have been more perfect. They said their vows to each other and were announced as a married couple to the witnesses whom then roared with applause. Sarah and Travis tied the knot on Saturday May 2, 2015 at The Pavilion at Pirates Cove Marina. What a gorgeous day it was to have a ceremony out by the marina. Blue skies filled this day along with family and friends to witness the joining of two special people that had planned the perfect Outer Banks Wedding!
Tony Joseph was the officiant for Sarah and Travis’s OBX ceremony. As always he delivered a great service. We played some nice pre-seating music as all the guests arrived to take their seats. The bride’s processional was “Canon in D” by Pachelbel. After the exchange of vows and Tony pronounced Sarah and Travis as a married couple they recessed to “All of my Love” by Led Zeppelin. Stephanie Dennis and Kyle Stickley tied the knot on Saturday afternoon in Jarvisburg, N.C. at The Sanctuary Vineyards. It was slightly cloudy with a chance of showers but nothing was going to stop this sweet couple from saying their “I do’s.” The ceremony service and exchange of vows took place and was nicely delivered, thanks to Rev. Saunders.
Guests enjoyed cocktails, wine, and appetizers in the front room of the Vineyards while the wedding party was taken for pictures with Brook Mayo from Brook Mayo photography.
The Currituck Club in Corolla was the venue for a grand wedding on Saturday, April 25th, as families and friends of Michael Smith and Mallory James converged to witness their union in marriage. The ceremony took place out on the seventh green overlooking the Currituck Sound a few hours before sunset. The ceremony was sweet, and after Michael and Mallory both said their vows, the guests headed up to the clubhouse for the celebration while Ryan Diegelmann with Coastal Shots Photography captured those perfect wedding portraits.
