We had the honor of providing music for Challee and Allison’s Wedding on Saturday March 26, 2016 in Buxton, N.C. Wedding season has begun for Coastal DJ and Video on the Outer Banks! DJ Karl here to share the details from the first Hatteras Island wedding of the Spring.

A Real Wedding Celebration

Family and friends came together down at the Inn on Pamlico Sound to witness the young couple exchanging their vows. For the ceremony we played “Stay Alive” by Jose Gonzalez for the entrance of the first bride. Next came “All the lights went out” by Marcy Playground for the processional of the next bride. There were big cheers along the waterfront on the Pamlico Sound in Buxton, N.C. on Saturday as Challee and Allison were announced as Mrs. And Mrs. Primus-Blackwelder. The brides and wedding party recessed to “Electric Love” by Borns.

After the ceremony the brides slipped away to share some moments together while the guests warmed up with some cocktails and hors devours. We also had the pleasure of working with Caroline Jarvis with Caroline Jarvis Photography who captured some beautiful photos from this wedding. Then the Brides were introduced to a welcoming crowd of Family and Friends. They shared their very first dance together to “Five String Serenade” by Mazzy Star.

The Inn on Pamlico Sound provided the perfect space for the Dinner portion of the reception. The views and the whole experience was nothing short of exquisite. The Maids of Honor had some kind and loving words to say for the toasts before the brides went inside to cut their wedding cake.

Party on!

Then the dance party was on! The entire pavilion behind the Inn was one big dance floor. There was plenty of room for all of the guests to share turns dancing with the newlywed brides. It had been a grey day all day but it was bright and festive under the pavilion as all celebrated the union of these two young ladies in love. Congratulations again to Mrs. And Mrs. Primus-Blackwelder!
